Schinus terebinthifolius is a tree which bears fruits commonly called pink pepper. Properly dried, they are suitable not only to diversify dishes, but also to obtain one of the most interesting essences of all spices. Its scent is stunningly intense and diffusing. When used in the composition, it will bring its characteristic tension and vibration, especially in the heart phase.
SFE stands for Supercritical Fluid Extraction, which means a special extraction method, the so-called supercritical extraction. It uses a low temperature, thanks to which more nuances of the smell of a given raw material are preserved.

Very true, strong, sharp and exact smell of pepper. Smells like crushed pepper with citrus nuances.

What should I say? It’s odor is simply amazing. It’s pure bliss to smell.
Regardless it’s peppery-citrusy overall odor picture, it has a delicious, almost candy-cotton like gourmand feeling. You can used it in a great range of dosages, from 0.05%-1.5%, but keep in mind that it’s very powerful and will quickly dominate top note.

Indeed a powerful and amazing material and my most favourite pepper. Opens up very fresh and sharp and as it dries down a bit I’m starting to get some tea notes and that’s very interesting. I also have Pink Pepper essential oil from Peru (Schinus molle) that has some fats that don’t want to dissolve. Now this SFE version doesn’t have this problem while being much more pleasant scent and better longevity.
